Aranzi Aronzo's The Bad Book

" You're never to old to be 12 years old!"

The Bad Book is a humorous, but slightly weird, very short adventure picture book of drawn comics and photographs of its main character, "The Bad Guy". The Bad Guy's adventures are centered around him doing "bad things" such as eating in bed or tripping someone.
Now, taking this book for what it's worth, a not too thought provoking picture book, the character, the Bad Guy is surprisingly fairly well developed. A 12 year old (boys in particular) would certainly find this
entertaining.

Interestingly, Aranzi Aronzo, I originally assumed was the author of this book. But, it in actuality, Aranzi Aronzo is a line created by two Japanese women. This book is rather a reflection of the Japanese humour and their culture versus our North American humour. This in itself may make it worthwhile to further explore with students. Other than that, it may or may not bring a chuckle depending on your sense of humor. Personally, I think it is a great addition now to my bathroom magazine rack.
And for those SNL die hard fans, this odd little creature, the Bad Guy brings back some dear memories of Oh no! It's Mr. Bill!

Hi Cindy--nice review! Maybe just proofread and create clearly paragraphs?

Also--I love the Mr. Bill idea--wonder what that is all about--maybe you should link to the website to help others who may not remember this?

So is this basically a book about how to make things, a bad guy, is that it?

Take care,

TP

This book is odd to say the least. There really isn't much to it- my opinion- I will revise and try and make it more clear.

The review that you give your readers is very entertaining in the sense of the "bad guy" character, I'm intrigued to read the book and see what things he gets himself into. I watch SNL but don't recall the "Mr.Bill" part, this seems interesting as well. Good review!
